T O P I C R E V I E WnovanomalyHello, I've been with my SO for almost three years now and it's a long distance relationship. Anyway, I'v been looking at my synastry and composite chart for a while now..but I'm just an amateur, so I don't really have a full grasp of it. I just feel a sense of despair though, but maybe I am wrong about it?Here is the synastry (updated). I'm on the inside and he's on the outside: Here is the synastry chart (updated). I am on the horizontal, and he is on the vertical: And here is the composite (updated): Thank you for anyone who decides to stop by and help me.LeeLoo2014Hi and welcome to Lindaland!!!!!! I'm willing to take a look if you can post the charts: - with normal orb - without "aspect lines to all" - with the asteroids on the left drop down menu down to Pholus (POF, Juno, Vesta etc.)- with asteroids: Eros, Psyche, Lust, Amor, Valentine, Cupido, Karma and Alma------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms...novanomalyAHHHH! Omg, yes. I will definitely get to it! Thank you so much! By normal, you mean without reducing it, right? Sorry..am quite the amateur so I don't know what normal orb would be! D:Sorry, was too excited. I forgot to greet you. Hello! Thank you for the warm greetings!geminigal2805Hi,Normal is without reducing the orbs. Some aspects could be felt even if they are not very tight. She is good at this. And dont check the 'add aspect lines to all' box.Too many lines hurt the eyes )U could post it as a new reply so she will know you have added the new chart. Or edit the first chart and BUMP the thread-so the thread moves up and she will know you have uploaded the new chart. novanomalyBump.Hello Geminigal! Thank you for answering~ Hopefully I did everything right. I'm eager to see what the synastry holds for the both of us.LeeLoo2014his Moon in your 10th - supportive, marital aspectyour Moon in his 2nd, your Venus in his 8ththe rest of the overlays and most of your aspects point to a mental, intellectual connection, perhaps even telepathy, friendship and being good buddies, which, of course, is a good start for romance for many peopleThere are some good connections between love houses rulers which perhaps can overcome the lack of many romantic aspects, but you do have:Venus trine PlutoMars sextile VenusSun sextile Moonetc.Moon trine Saturn, a good marital aspect. These are all soft aspects and this is a pleasant, warm, smooth relationship, so if you're both OK with this, it could work ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms...novanomalyHello, Leeloo!Thank you for taking the time to look at it!How did you do that anyway?! I'm amazed at how simple you make it compared to when I'm trying to look at it~ It all seems so complicated in my eyes. Haha. Can you give me tips on how you did the readings? I'd like to learn so if I have any other questions I can look it up for myself and not bother all you lovelies every time I've a question! On another note. The relationship feels far from smooth though.. :\ I constantly feel like..I've a hard time communicating with him/relating to him. Also, I've always wondered if his moon was in Cancer or Gemini..since it's so close on the border. Astro tells me it's Gemini, but when I read the description for it..it didn't really seem to fit him. D:And, I was once told that my NN conjuncts his Venus meaning that this was a karmic bond or something like that? Is that really the case? Also, something about his Saturn being close to my DC which wasn't good since it could mean controlling, etc. Then there was the thing with my sun squaring his Venus and Mars...To be honest, I don't have a clue as to what I'm looking at when I'm looking at my synastry/composite.novanomalyBumpLeeLoo2014Here is a checklist on how to evaluate a potential soulmate synastry: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/000019.html ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms...novanomalyHello, this thread has been dead for a while, but something just hit me.. If his Venus is sextile my Mars and Jupiter, but my Venus is square his Mars and Jupiter..does the effect of the aspects cancel each other out? What exactly are double whammies? Delilah423I'll leave your applying/separating question to someone more knowledgeable than me, although my take on it is that it is a minor issue that those of us still in astrology kindergarten probably won't want to worry about for awhile.Yes, a double whammy (DW) would be something like his Sun trines your Moon and your Sun squares his Moon. (If his Sun aspects your Moon, your Moon also aspects his Sun). Most of the most important minor aspects are already indicated in the astro charts, so I wouldn't worry about the ones indicated with an apostrophe yet. Unless you're an astrology chart visual whiz (I'm not), you can't even figure out which aspect the apostrophe is standing in for until you do the math. Then, you may find out it is a novile or a triseptile or whatever. Many experienced astrologers don't look at quintiles and semisquares (which are examples of more commonly used minor aspects already on the charts), let alone the more uncommon ones indicated by the '. I'm not even in astrology kinder yet, probably just astrology day care. :P But, it's too hard to pass day care!Does it matter what kind of aspect it makes for it to be a double whammy though? There are some good connections between love houses rulers which perhaps can overcome the lack of many romantic aspects, but you do have:

Moon trine Saturn, a good marital aspect.
These are all soft aspects and this is a pleasant, warm, smooth relationship, so if you're both OK with this, it could work
